Foldgate and Forever

This sculpture features a couple intertwined, crafted from stainless steel with a flawless, highly polished surface. The steel gleams with a mirror-like finish, reflecting the surrounding light and environment. The couple is seamlessly joined, their forms both distinct yet connected—suggesting unity, balance, and intimacy. The precision of the metalwork showcases the artist’s skill, capturing every curve and line with sharp, deliberate angles that contrast with the smooth, flowing curves of their bodies. The reflective quality of the stainless steel brings an almost ethereal quality to the piece, allowing the sculpture to change as it interacts with its surroundings. The way the light plays off the surface adds a sense of motion and life, making it feel like the couple is frozen in a moment of connection.

This piece was inspired by an artist on the tv series Blown Away, fabricating his art piece for the show. My favourite piece so far and probably always will be.
